
What does the pool and spa management certification training include?
The CPO® course is two days long, it requires physical presence, and is taught by an Association PHTA certified instructor from the American Swimming Pool and Spa. PHTA is an organization authorized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
The CPO® training covers topics such as water disinfection and chemical balance, equipment maintenance, health and safety, and familiarization with regulatory requirements.
Holding a CPO® Certificate means that its holder has acquired the necessary knowledge and skills for the proper management, maintenance and safety of swimming pools and SPA facilities.
